Strengthening Faith, Ahead of the ITTIBA Exam

Tangerang, October 19, 2025 — The Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang (UMT) held an enrichment program on Sunday, October 19, 2025, as part of the ITTIBA (Intensive Tahfizh, Tilawah, and Arabic) initiative and preparation for the upcoming ITTIBA Competency Test. This program was attended by approximately 1,200 students from all faculties across UMT.

The enrichment sessions focused on Islamic teachings and Muhammadiyah values, which form the foundation of the ITTIBA curriculum. All materials were delivered exclusively by lecturers from AIKA (Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan) without the involvement of external speakers.

Held across various classrooms on campus, the sessions covered key themes such as Islamic faith (aqidah), worship (ibadah), moral conduct (akhlaq), and the history and ideology of the Muhammadiyah movement. The purpose of this enrichment was to equip students with both the knowledge and spiritual understanding needed to succeed in the upcoming competency test.

By organizing this program, UMT reinforces its commitment to shaping graduates who are not only academically capable, but also grounded in strong Islamic principles and the values of Muhammadiyah.
