A portion of bakso here is priced at just Rp20,000, but its flavor is far from ordinary. "I knew about this place from a friend who lives nearby," said Nadya, a customer who now stops by Bakso Rojer anytime she passes through Kelapa Dua. "Now every time I visit the area, I make sure to grab a bowl."
What started as a small venture in a residential alley has now expanded to a second branch due to popular demand. The eatery opens at 11 AM, and by dusk, it's often sold out. While the dine-in space is limited and simple, online orders rarely slow down—testament to its ever-growing fanbase.
Adi, a regular customer from the neighboring district of Gading Serpong, shared his take: "It’s not fancy, but the meatballs are consistently delicious. The broth has that comforting, homemade feel to it. It’s the kind of food that keeps you coming back."
The owner, fondly known as Bang Rojer, never imagined his bakso stall would gain this much traction. “I started this just hoping to make a decent living,” he said. “But the response surprised me. Even online orders can be overwhelming on weekends.”
Now, nearly a decade since its first bowl was served, Bakso Rojer continues to grow—one ladle of broth at a time. With its down-to-earth charm and dependable flavor, it has become more than just a quick bite; it’s a neighborhood staple that brings people back, no matter how far they’ve come.
